Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis Takes Command of First Publicly Traded Hip-Hop Company
the first publicly traded Hip-Hop company, announced today the unanimous decision of its Board of Directors to appoint Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis as the company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Over the past 40 years, Dr. Chavis has become one of the world's most effective leaders and strategists, having served previously as the Executive Director and CEO of the NAACP and currently working with Russell Simmons as Co-founder and President of the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN), the worlds largest coalition of Hip-Hop artists and recording industry executives.
